Their Love!

Inuyasha and Kagome

A stubborn, hard-headed hanyou and a fiery, young school girl stuck in the throes of uncertain love. Who new? The irony is quite obvious in their "relationship" reguarding one another. The two seem to butt heads, more often than not, on random issues it seems.

And both have that hot-headed stubborness when it comes to verbal showdowns against each other. Their mouths also seem to acquire a large vocabulary and a variety of numerous insults. Inuyasha and Kagome, through the series, gain the knowledge of each other's "buttons", and they seem to push them a lot, agitating the other into a fight almost constantly. More often than not, Inuyasha pushes Kagome's first.

Kagome remarks upon after meeting Inuyasha that she's never met anybody who's made her so angry and frustrated. And that she's never gotten that angry with someone before. Inuyasha, likewise, probably never thought he'd meet someone who had the guts and skills, to match him evenly in verbal fights.

Therefore, having realized that they shared something in common, and it not being your most normal hobby, they developed a link--a bond of trust with one another as they got to know each other better. The rosary doesn't count! lol

You can never really tell with these two. Feelings seem to waver back and forth constantly; especially with Inuyasha. But, Inuyasha tells Kagome to let him protect her and he's been doing so ever since. Inuyasha knows, after is was verbally confirmed, that he fights better with Kagome near him.

When Kagome leaves to her world, Inuyasha always waits by the well and sulks till she comes back. Other times he goes to get her because he misses her so much. Kagome also thinks of Inuyasha whenever she goes home and she's happy to see him when she goes back to the Feudal Era. In episode 48, Kagome admits that she's deeply in love with the dog-boy, as she randomly calls him, and that she wants him to be happy. She also tells him that she wants to be by his side...forever.

In the first movie, Inuyasha tells Kagome that he needs her and in the second they kiss! Inuyasha always gets irritated and jealous whenever Kouga arrives and proclaims his love to Kagome. Thus starting a 'dog-fight' between the two on who should'nt and should and is allowed to 'touch, keep, own, love, and possess' Kagome.

Kagome is also hurt and somewhat jealous when Inuyasha ventures off to go see Kikyo. She can't understand why the hanyou would love something that is dead, wants him dead, and is in alliance with his greatest enemy, Naraku. Though, through thick and thin, she stays with him and comforts him. Many times she's been open to attacks because of the hanyou's little 'visits'

Throughout the series, towards the 130+ episodes, Inuyasha seems to steer more firmly to Kagome--after Kikyo has died again. He becomes more open and caring and very touchy. He assures her that she is not a replacement, but Kagome.
