History
Believe it or not, kuroi-hoshi.org started out as general anime fansite named "Angels Anime" hosted on a free webhost. My layout skills where next to zilch; I couldn't even design a webpage so had to use a page builder! Another year on a free webserver, I learned HTML thanks to Lisa Explains it All and saved enough to buy Paint Shop Pro 7. And with the help of Daydream Graphics tutorials I made my first div layer layout!
It was an achievement I was very proud of; unfortunately I never kept a record of it. It was a Ranma ½ layout; made using simple div layers and IFrames (as it was the in thing at that time).
Just under a year later and after much thinking, I decided to purchase my first domain. I didn't have a clue what to name this domain and decided to enlist the help a very close friend of mine, Sayuri, to help with a name.
She recommended "kuroi-hoshi", which translates to "black-star" I loved it straight away and agreed that it was a great name. Next came about the debate over if it would be a .net, .com or .org—.net and .com had been done to death so we finally agreed on kuroi-hoshi.org, which was opened on 04/25/2003.
After another year of practicing my HTML skills and graphic design; I decided it was about time I owned a blog domain. "kuroi-tsuki" was easily translated as "black-moon" a perfect sister network and partner for kuroi-hoshi.org. kuroi-tsuki.org was opened on 03/08/2004.
